Dafne Viaggi has been running the Filigree Museum ‘Pietro Carlo Bosio’ in Campo Ligure since 2021.

The museum exhibits some of the most precious pieces of filigree, an ancient technique for working precious metals, mainly silver, in the world.

The exhibits in the museum are grouped according to the geographical areas of origin; it is thus possible to identify the differences between the various schools of workmanship. Extensive space is given to Italian filigree, with Venice, Genoa, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Florence as the leading cities, but there are also valuable pieces from China, Russia, Nepal and India.

The Museum’s multimedia room not only offers all the information needed to fully appreciate this ancient goldsmith’s art, but also tells the story of the Filigrana di Campo Ligure, an artistic handicraft that has made the village a National Centre for production and processing.

The Filigree Museum in Campo Ligure represents one of the largest collections of filigree works in the world.

Dafne operates thanks to operators residing in Campo Ligure or in neighbouring municipalities, guaranteeing not only the opening of the garages, but also employment growth with local economic spin-offs.
